Indeed, LV looks like a fairy tale at night, when all the neon lights are shining and the casinos are crowded with people trying their luck at the black jack or poker tables. At daytime, it's a whole other world, hardly no action at all, nothing to draw your attention, except for some couples who want to get married in Vegas. We explored the whole Strip, starting at the beginning in Mandalay Bay hotel, where you can visit the aquarium. We worked our way back along the famous hotels, like the Luxor (Egypt in a nutshell), MGM (with the famous movie lion), New York New York (with the Statue and Brooklyn Bridge), Excalibur, Le Mirage, Treasure Island, Paris, The Venetian, Ceasars Palace, the Bellagio and of course we went up to the roof of the Stratosphere.
Las Vegas at night is great, at daytime it's boring, but the food is great and portions are huge! We enjoyed the Fountain Music and Light show at the Mirage and attented the Vulcan outburst at TI. Also we watched the white tigers and lions that perform in Siegfried and Roy's show and did some shopping at a local scrapbooking store as well as Michael's.
